Summer is my favorite time of year. Trips to the beach, BBQ’s, rooftop bars – I try my best to make the most of the longer days and warmer weather. Working out even comes a little easier for me in the summer months – I love to go running and do early morning outdoor yoga. I make it my mission to spend as much time outdoors as possible, and since I live a little further away from my closest girlfriends, whenever I leave my place to see them I want to be rocking an outfit that’s gonna take me from yoga to girl time. I also need workout clothes that are functional and look cute, but at the same time don’t break the bank. After complimenting a girl on her patterned leggings at my morning yoga class, she told me about YogaClub, an activewear company box that sends athleisure from top quality brands at a fraction of the price.
I wanted my workout gear to be stylish, and actually look like an outfit, and I flat out refuse to wear black leggings in the summer, so I loved that YogaClub asks you to take a fun style quiz to help determine what your style preferences are. You let them know what kinds of exercise you do (or want to be doing), if you like pastels or bold prints, and if there are any parts of your body you want to accentuate or hide. My arms are a work in progress, so I chose to have them covered up. Then, YogaClub’s style experts personally curate a total look just for you – every box has a pair of leggings, a sports bra, and a top, all from high-quality labels like Onzie and Vie Active.
YogaClub sounded like the perfect way to have proper workout attire that actually looked good. I couldn’t wait for my first box to arrive! When I came home to the pink package on my doorstep, I was so excited to see they sent me a long-sleeve cream top from Vie Active with a beautiful twist and an open back, a strappy sports bra, and White Ombre Leopard leggings from Vie Active. The leopard print leggings were made of the perfect material – not sheer, but also not too thick for the summer months, and the sports bra gave me fantastic support. The 3 pieces together looked so stylish, and I was already planning different outfits in my head, mixing and matching my own pieces with my new YogaClub swag.
On Saturday, I woke up to the sun shining and headed to my morning yoga class. The leggings didn’t roll down at all during downward dog, and for once, I didn’t have to keep tugging at my sports bra! Afterward, I went straight to brunch with my friends feeling cute and put together. My friend who always has the nicest athleisure even complimented me on my leopard leggings. Usually, I would have to run home and change out of my black leggings and oversized tee, but with my YogaClub outfit, I was able to enjoy the day, looking put together. Plus, I didn’t have to spend an arm and a leg – every box contains up to $160 worth of name brand attire for only $79 a box. I’ve loved the clothes in each box so much that I even found myself more motivated to workout than ever before. I started strength training, and after a month, I was already feeling more confident about my arms, so I went on YogaClub’s website to tweak my style preferences to include some short sleeve tops and tanks. I love that you can change your preferences or pause your subscription at any time.
I’ve been getting YogaClub for a few months now, and so far I’ve loved everything they sent me. It’s like having a little extra bit of motivation delivered with every box, and I feel good knowing that if I ever don’t totally love something (which hasn’t happened yet!) YogaClub will let me swap it out for something that’s more my style. Finally, athleisure that I feel confident wearing all day long!
