How To Dress Like Barry Keoghan

Since the December 22, 2023 release of Saltburn on Amazon Prime Video, the world revolves around two men: Jacob Elordi and Barry Keoghan.

Barry, who has been in films like Dunkirk, The Banshees of Inisherin, and Eternals, has been slowly stealing the hearts of viewers. His recent performance as the damaged, deranged, and dangerous Oliver Quick in Saltburn crowned him the internet’s White Boy of the Month.

And now that his co-star Jacob Elordi was recently accused of assaulting a photographer, we can’t stan our former Euphoria heartthrob anymore. So, it’s time to focus on Barry, and Barry alone.

He’s everywhere in Hollywood, always slaying red carpets in some sexy vest number. He’s also dating singer Sabrina Carpenter — new power couple alert? We just got the first photo of them from the Grammys after party this weekend and it’s all anyone can talk about.

Just Google “Barry Keoghan red carpet” to see concrete proof that Barry is one of the best-dressed male celebrities right now. He rarely misses: donning tasteful prints, bold cuts and shapes, and, of course, those sexy little vests. From his laddish tracksuits to lavish designer suits, our boy can do it all.

What I love about Barry’s style is that it’s fitted. Some men rock the oversized look. But Barry’s a short king, so he would run the risk of drowning in his clothes if he opted for baggy pants and oversized sweatshirts. Instead, he plays with cropped lengths and tailored suit pants.

And that’s the ultimate marker of fine style: knowing what works for your body and what best accentuates your fabulous features. If you want to dress like Barry Keoghan, here’s how!

Barry For British GQ- A Matching Set

What I love about a matching set is that it does all the work for you. You don’t have to worry if your top matches your bottoms, they’re literally guaranteed to. And then you can mix and match pieces in the future.

While Barry’s patchwork denim moment may not be your style…try a bold color, or a different print or texture. It’s the easiest way to spice up your wardrobe without even trying.

Barry For Academy Museum Gala- A Sleeveless Moment

You knew we had to talk about the vests that Barry Keoghan seems to have trademarked. And no, I’m not talking about the classic sweater vest eclectic grandpa-chic that Harry Styles loves. These tailored, cropped vests fall perfectly at the waist and are met with a coordinating pair of trousers.

More playful than a suit, this sleeveless set does the talking for itself. It’s an easy way to nix the tux and go for something a bit more avant-garde. If you’re reading this and saying “I could never wear that…” change your mindset.

Barry For David Yurman x Michael B. Jordan Event- A Tank

There’s something to be said about the simplicity of a plain neutral tank and a pair of suit pants. Whether they’re loose trousers or fitted like Barry’s, it’s an easy look to accomplish that speaks volumes. It’s a way to show you’re not too committed to the fit while looking polished and nonchalant all at once.

Barry keeps it simple here: a gold medallion chain on his neck and he’s ready. It’s the “off-duty male model” look that will work time and time again.

Barry For Masters Of Air Premiere

Any red carpet starring Austin Butler, Barry, and Callum Turner is one that I will be tuning into. Three gorgeous men debuting three vastly different sections of menswear, and Barry plays the role of risk-taker.

There are a few elements beyond the obvious that make this set stand out, however. First, the cropped aspect of the vest, which is tailored almost to perfection. Second, the pure white in contrast to the muted neutrals of the others. Third, the play on looser pants with a tight top to give the body dimension.

If you’re worried about a vest, still try to go with a tighter shirt paired with a loose pant. It’s my favorite way to give the aura of a cinched waist without having to try too hard.
