Every new year, I tell myself I’m going to be better and healthier than the last.
I always have the best intentions, but it’s hard to know where to begin!
In previous years I did really well when it came to changing my diet. But one thing I’m terrible at is staying hydrated.
I do drink water sometimes, but my liquid intake consists mostly of coffee and diet soda.
I didn’t realize how bad this was until I came across an article that said apparently 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. And I’m definitely one of them.
Every morning when I wake up, I feel so groggy and tired. This is something I wanted to change this year, but I knew I was never going to be someone that drinks 8 entire glasses of water a day.
I thought I was always going to be dehydrated, until a friend told me about Hydrant. Hydrant is a morning hydration mix you stir into your drink. It comes in packets, in flavors like Blood Orange, Lime, and Grapefruit, as well as Orange and Lemon caffeinated flavors.
I mean, how could some powder hydrate me?! I was skeptical, so I looked into it. Turns out, hydration is about more than just water.
Hydrant is an electrolyte-spiked formula that was created based on research that looked for a faster way to hydrate. It has the ideal blend of potassium, zinc, magnesium, & sodium.
I went on the Hydrant website and when I saw that the packets are only $1.25 each, I decided to order a one-month supply of a variety of flavors to see how it went.
The box arrived a few days later, and I was excited to try it to see if it would help me feel hydrated.
The next morning, I added some of the Blood Orange flavor to my water after having my morning coffee. The first thing I noticed was how tasty it was!
I was surprised because it’s so relatively low in sugar and has no synthetic colors or artificial sweeteners.
I thought I’d probably lack a lot of energy only having one cup of coffee, but I found I still had energy, plus I had focus and a clear head throughout the day. The next day, I tried the Lime flavor, which was delicious, too.
Over the next few weeks, I drank one packet a day. I’ll admit that I still had two cups of coffee some days, but I definitely felt the difference and felt more hydrated.
It was much easier to get out of bed in the morning, and I even noticed my skin was slightly clearer, too.
By the end of the month, I was able to get up as soon as my alarm went off. My mornings were super productive, and I got so much done at work. I decided to subscribe, saving 20%!
So now, my Hydrant packages come straight to my door every month, and I can stay hydrated easily.
I’d recommend Hydrant to anyone who has trouble drinking the recommended amount of water and wants to be more focused, have more energy and improve their overall health.
