I’ve always enjoyed getting inspiration from Pinterest, Instagram, and my favorite mommy blogs to find cute clothes for my kids. Ever since I was little, I’ve loved fashion and playing dress-up. My closet is filled with one-of-a-kind pieces from thrift finds to top brands, so it’s no surprise my son and daughter share the same passion for clothes and love to explore their own styles too. The problem is that it’s hard to find cute clothes with a consistent fit that both of them will actually like and want to wear. I told my frustrations to my sister who always dresses her kids so adorably, and she let me in on her style secret: Kidbox.
Kidbox is a kids clothing service that makes shopping for kids convenient and affordable. They deliver a box for all 4 seasons and 1 extra for Back-to-School. With over 130 top brands, Kidbox has plenty of variety and boasts a wide selection like Kidtopia, Flowers by Zoe, Quicksilver, Reebok, Butter, DKNY, and Splendid. Each box is curated for your child based on their personalized style quiz, and you get 7 days to try on the clothes, keep what you love, and send the rest back at no cost to you. Prices range from $14-16 apiece, and if you keep everything it’s $98. The best part is when you keep the entire box, Kidbox will donate new kids clothes to a charity of your choice, so you can give back to a greater cause. This has been a wonderful experience for my kids and has helped them understand the importance of giving back.
Getting started with Kidbox was extremely easy and fun. I filled out two separate quizzes for each of my kids, starting with basic information like name, age, and size. Then you answer questions about your child’s likes and dislikes such as styles and colors. This feature is great since my four year old son won’t even go near the color orange. Kidbox also lets you pick between 4 styles: City Cool, Modern Casual, Classic Preppy, and Sporty Athletic. I went with City Cool for my daughter and Modern Casual for my son. I loved how personalized and easy it was, but not having to deal with a fitting room tantrum was the best!
When we got the two boxes delivered, my kids were so excited to open them and it was fun for all of us to do together. In addition to the clothing items, the boxes (which are also really cool) come with stickers, crayons, and a personalized letter. My son loved his monkey t-shirt and my daughter is obsessed with her white dress with purple palm trees. She loves to mix and match different outfits, something she definitely learned from me, and these boxes let her do exactly that. My kids definitely have plenty of adorable outfits for school, birthday parties, and activities, and they’ve been asking about when the next box will come!
We loved all the items in the box so we kept both, and we decided together which charity to donate to; they chose kids who are experiencing homelessness. All we had to do was select the charity and Kidbox makes the donation–it’s that simple! This charitable aspect of Kidbox has helped start a conversation with my kids about how important it is to help those in need.
Finding fashionable clothes for my kids that actually fit and they love to wear is a huge win in my book. On top of all that, contributing to a great cause has made Kidbox a positive addition to our family. And who wouldn’t want that?
